Public Computer Access
- Mesa County Libraries offers free public computer access at all 8 library locations. Internet access and Microsoft Office 2007 software is available on all computers. A library card is required for login.
Wireless Internet
- Free wireless Internet access is available at the Central, Fruita, Palisade, Clifton, and Orchard Mesa branch libraries. No library account is required for wireless use.

Computer Use Rules (printable version)
- Patrons should read and familiarize themselves with our Computer & Internet Use Policy and
Computer Lab Rules.
- Patrons must use only their own library card for computer access.
- Use per day is limited to two 1/2 hour sessions throughout the library system.
- Patrons may not log on for a second session if others are waiting.
- Patrons may ask to have their session time extended is no one else is waiting.
- Computers located in the Children's area are for children 11 years old and younger.
- Computers located in the Teen area are for teens between the ages of 12 and 18 only.
- Changing computer settings is not allowed.
- Only one person per computer.
- We do not offer advance computer reservations; computers are available on a next-available system.
- Computers automatically shut down five minutes before closing.
- At approximately 15 minutes before closing, computers will no longer allow logon.
- Any violation of these rules may result in the suspension of computer privileges at every branch throughout the library system.
